19 May Awarding of the first quality marks 19th May, 2020
The GfG Gütegemeinschaft für Gabionen e.V. recently awarded the first four GABIONS quality marks to their respective users. These include the engineering office IBH-Herold & Partner Ingenieure Part mbB in Weimar (performance-related “Planning”), the company Rothfuss Best Gabion in Wittlich (product-related “Metals”), Bärnreuther+Deuerlein Schotterwerke GmbH & Co KG, Postbauer-Heng (product-related “Stones”) and the construction company Deutschle GmbH, Abenberg (performance-related “Construction”).
All four companies are renowned for their characteristics of quality, innovation and team spirit represented by the RAL (German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification) certified quality mark and have set themselves the task of contributing to the further development, distribution and quality improvement of gabion products.
The list of official quality mark users is to be expanded in the near future. The GfG Gütegemeinschaft für Gabionen e.V. aims to establish a transparent, permanently neutrally monitored, standard-compliant quality of gabions by creating rules. This begins with planning, continues with the correct tendering process, the manufacture of the products through to construction and acceptance/warranty. Future quality mark users are therefore also selected on the basis of these criteria.
