Steps for obtaining and maintaining the quality mark

1. requirements

The quality mark is based on the General and respective Special Quality and Inspection Regulations.

2. application

Application for the award of the quality mark

3. initial inspection

Passing the initial test is a prerequisite for the award and use of the Quality Association’s quality mark.

As part of the initial test, it is checked whether the applicant’s products and/or services fully comply with the requirements set out in the General and respective Special Quality and Inspection Regulations.

4. self-monitoring

Every quality mark user must carry out continuous and reproducible self-monitoring at all times to ensure compliance with the quality and testing specifications.

This involves careful recording/documentation by the quality mark user.

5. external monitoring

It serves to determine whether the quality and test specifications and the requirements specified for the proper performance of the tests are still being met by the quality mark user.

The external inspection is carried out regularly by an authorized external inspector without prior notice.

6. re-testing

If deficiencies in the quality assurance are identified during external monitoring, a repeat test can be ordered.

If this is also not passed, violations can be penalized.
